Opening Night

The Festival got off to a cracking start this year with the now traditional Opening Night Gala. Food was supplied by the Cornish Curry Company and the bar by Tintagel Brewery. Our host for the vening was Shane Solomon and music came from The Harry Peanut Show - between them they created an electric atmosphere.

A big vote of thanks goes to the Gala Night Committee  - Carolyn Edwards, Geoff Showell, Janet Lathom, Sarah Duffy, Laura Mead (school), Sharon Pethick, Nikki Collings, Jackie Haddy (Football Club),Emma Miller & Karina Stollery (Boscastle Playgroup),Fran Baker, Hazel and Danielle Beetle(Gig Rowing Club) and Chris Searle (BCTC).

Many thanks, too, to all those who helped during the event itself. In particular to parents Tracy, Jess, Jodi, Shirley, Sue V, Carolyn, Nikki, Jackie, Emma, Karina, & George Brown from the school. To members of the Football Club and Gig Club who also provided security for the night. To Steve Jose, Martin Pethick, Jess and Ness Sellars,  Liz, John, Eliza, Helena, Robin and Mark.  And to Sarah Hayden for the flower displays.
